The specified stirring rod measures Ø 8 x 45 mm. Choosing the correct magnetic stir bar is important for effective mixing: it must be proportionate to liquid volume, vessel shape and sample viscosity. Correct magnetic coupling reduces the risk of vortex loss, vibration and irregular stirring.
