Bar feed finger collet

the counter collet are preloaded in order to be able to carry out a correct advancement of the bar without creating any problems for the single-spindle - multi-spindle lathe and above all guaranteeing precision in the advancement of the bar, in order to avoid the creation of short and defective pieces. The bar feed finger pliers are made with a sliding load calibrated by the manufacturer according to the material used by the pliers which is normally divided into three groups, for steel, for aluminum and for brass. The load is calculated based on the specific weight and the diameter and/or profile of the bar.

Plastic bar feed finger are used for multi-spindle and single-spindle CNC lathes and has a high wear resistance, the average duration is 5/15 km of bars according to the pressure that develops on them.
