The PCE-428-ICA sound level meter is an ideal measuring device for applications in workplaces, construction sites, traffic, and airports. Classified as a Class 2 instrument, it is equipped with an integrated octave band filter and can optionally be equipped with a third-octave band filter. Results can be displayed both numerically and graphically. The sound level meter offers various frequency weightings: A, B, C, and Z, and time weightings such as Fast, Slow, Impulse, and Leq. The measurement range is between 25 and 136 dBA, and the frequency ranges from 20 Hz to 12.5 kHz. It is possible to configure 3 custom measurement profiles. The operator can select the parameters to measure, including Laeq, LcPeak, LaFmax, and LaFMin.

 

The "Peak-Hold" function allows the peak value to be detected and held during extended measurements on the display. A 24-bit AD converter and advanced electronic design reduce device noise to very low levels. The measurement signal sampling at over 48 kHz ensures high accuracy and stability in the noise analyzer's measurement value.
