The Asturo K1000 electric airless pump 230V on wheeled frame with painting kit is designed for professional applications on large indoor and outdoor surfaces. Suitable for building, maintenance, surface protection and asbestos encapsulation work, it can be used with dispersions, one- and two-component paints, water-soluble coatings, primers, base coats, fillers, latex, quartz washable paints, anti-rust products, enamels, impregnating products, zinc coatings and waterproofing materials.

The Asturo K1000 electric airless pump 230V on wheeled frame with painting kit is a professional machine for airless spraying of paints, protective coatings and technical materials on medium and large surfaces. The image shows a robust structure on a painted tubular frame, with transport wheels, rear handle, electric motor, pump unit and front fittings for the suction and delivery circuit. This configuration makes the K1000 suitable for job sites, workshops, maintenance departments and applications requiring work continuity, greater operating autonomy and easy movement.

The airless system applies the material without using compressed air as the main atomising medium. The pump pressurises the material and sends it to the spray gun through a high-pressure hose; the spray tip generates the fan pattern and determines flow rate, spray width and quantity of material deposited. This technology is particularly useful when large surfaces must be treated, as it provides faster, more uniform and more continuous coverage than manual application with roller or brush.

The K1000 is suitable for large surfaces, indoor and outdoor work, spraying of dispersions, building applications and protective coating cycles on different substrates. It can be used with one- and two-component paints, water-based paints, dispersions and water-soluble products, primers, base coats, fillers, latex, quartz washable paints, anti-rust coatings, enamels, impregnating products, zinc coatings and waterproofing materials. Its compatibility with different material types makes it suitable for both finishing and surface preparation or protection.

Typical applications include the building sector, interior painting, protection of external surfaces, maintenance of structures, application of base coats and primers, anti-corrosion cycles, waterproofing products and specialist operations such as asbestos encapsulation. In these applications, it is always essential to follow the material manufacturer’s technical data sheets, safety procedures, drying times, recommended film thickness and any regulatory requirements applicable to the specific operation.

The wheeled structure is an important practical advantage. The wheels allow the pump to be moved easily between different areas of a job site or workshop, while the tubular frame protects the machine unit and provides stability during use. This feature is useful when working on large surfaces, across multiple rooms or in areas where the operator needs to reposition the equipment frequently without excessively interrupting the application cycle.

The quality of the result depends directly on correct spray tip selection. The product information indicates the possibility of using two spray guns and a maximum tip diameter of 0.031", depending on paint viscosity. This means that the tip must be selected according to material type, density, particle size, required flow rate and coating thickness. Fluid products generally require smaller orifices, while base coats, fillers, latex, quartz coatings and more viscous materials require suitable tips and correct filtration.

Before use, it is advisable to check viscosity, filtration and product compatibility with the airless system. The material must be prepared according to the technical data sheet, avoiding unauthorised dilution or incompatible mixing. Unfiltered or excessively thick material may cause clogging, irregular spraying, loss of fan pattern, side streaks and premature wear of the tip, filters and internal pump components. Excessively diluted material, on the other hand, may cause runs, poor coverage and reduced protective film thickness.

During spraying, it is important to keep a constant distance from the surface and move the spray gun with regular, parallel and overlapping passes. The operator should start the movement before pulling the trigger and release it before stopping the hand movement, avoiding material build-up at turning points. Pressure must be adjusted until a full and uniform fan pattern is obtained, without excessive overspray and without weak areas. Pressure that is too low may create stripes and uneven coverage, while excessive pressure increases waste, overspray and spray tip wear.

For large surfaces it is advisable to organise the work by zones, maintaining wet edge continuity between passes, especially with fast-drying products. In technical, anti-corrosion, waterproofing or encapsulating cycles, it is important to check the applied film thickness according to the manufacturer’s cycle requirements, because insufficient quantity may compromise protection, durability and treatment compliance. In these cases the pump becomes part of a technical process that must be managed methodically, not simply as a painting tool.

Maintenance is essential to keep the K1000 performing consistently. At the end of the job, the circuit, filters, hose, spray gun and tip must be thoroughly cleaned with a product compatible with the material used. Dry residues, cured products or particles left inside the system may reduce flow rate, block the spray tip, damage seals and compromise the quality of the next spraying operation. Proper cleaning helps preserve efficiency, reliability and service life of the pump.

The Asturo K1000 electric airless pump 230V on wheeled frame with painting kit is therefore a suitable solution for professionals who need to apply liquid materials on large surfaces with greater productivity and uniformity. It is intended for building contractors, applicators, painters, maintenance technicians and specialised operators looking for a transportable, stable and versatile pump capable of working with different materials and supporting finishing, protection and technical treatment cycles in professional environments.
