PCE Instruments PCE-TUM 50 is a laboratory turbidimeter compliant with ISO 7027 (90°) for fast and accurate turbidity control in drinking water, wastewater and food & beverage samples. It measures up to 2000 NTU and also supports EBC and ASBC scales, with a clear colour graphical display. Easy calibration up to 7 points (custom points possible), 200-value memory and USB interface for data download to a PC. Powered via 12 V adapter.
PCE-TUM 50 is a turbidimeter designed to measure turbidity according to ISO 7027 (90° geometry), ensuring repeatable results and reliable comparability in quality control routines. It is suitable for laboratories and QC departments that need to monitor drinking water, wastewater, or samples in the food & beverage / brewing sector.
The instrument covers a measuring range up to 2000 NTU and allows readings in EBC (European Brewery Convention) and ASBC (American Society of Brewing Chemists), which is particularly useful for brewery-related and food applications. The large colour display makes values easy to read and supports quick day-to-day operation.
Calibration is straightforward: the device supports up to 7 predefined calibration points, and additional points can be configured if required. Measured results can be stored in the internal memory with up to 200 locations, supporting traceability and internal audits. The rear USB port enables connection to a PC to download recorded data for archiving and analysis.
With 850 nm IR LED illumination and specified resolution/accuracy ranges, the PCE-TUM 50 is a dependable bench instrument for process checks, filtration verification, acceptance testing and routine monitoring. The 12 V mains power supply makes it ideal as a stationary laboratory device.
