The combined food environmental meter PCE-IR 100 is designed to ensure rapid, precise, and hygienically safe temperature monitoring at every stage of the food chain, from production to transport and catering. Its key feature is the ability to perform both non-contact measurements, using infrared technology, and direct contact measurements through a foldable insertion probe that can be placed inside the product. This dual mode allows reliable monitoring of both surface and core temperatures in cooked, raw, or frozen foods, fully in line with HACCP standards.
Operation is simple and intuitive. In infrared mode, the instrument projects a light spot that precisely marks the measurement area, thus avoiding errors and minimizing the risk of contamination. When internal temperature control is required, the foldable probe ensures direct and accurate contact measurements with very short response times. Evaluation of results is further simplified by the integrated colored LED indicators, which clearly show whether the measured temperature is within the hygienic safety limits.
