The gloss meter is equipped with an external gloss sensor. The measuring surface of Ø 4.5 mm of the surface Testing also makes a significant contribution to being able to carry out measurements on small surfaces that are difficult to access. With the supplied calibration reference, the gloss meter can be checked at any time. With an accuracy of 1%, the surface Testing is a high-precision measuring device.
The one-button operation enables quick and easy operation of the gloss meter. Another special feature of thesurface Testing is the data storage function. With this data storage function, the measured values are saved. The measured values are then read out from the gloss meter using a PC. For this purpose, a direct USB connection can be established with the surface Testing and a PC. The installation of a driver or software is not required because the data from the gloss meter is saved directly as a text file. In addition to the measured value, a time stamp from the surface Testing is also saved.
