The PCE Instruments PCE-432-EKIT is a Class 1 professional sound level meter with built-in GPS and an outdoor measurement kit for long-term monitoring in harsh weather. Measuring range 22 … 136 dB(A), frequency range 3 Hz … 20 kHz, with octave-band analysis (optional 1/3 octave). It features an integrated data logger to micro SD, graphical display, and USB connectivity for fast download and analysis.
The PCE-432 Class 1 sound level meter is designed for noise measurement and frequency analysis in accordance with major international standards. The integrated GPS receiver allows each measurement to be linked to a precise location—ideal for environmental surveys, site assessments and extended monitoring campaigns.
An internal data logger stores measurements on a micro SD card. Data can be reviewed on a PC via USB connection or by reading the memory directly. The instrument supports frequency weightings A, B, C, Z and time weightings Fast, Slow, Impulse, Peak, with configurable limits and alarms. Octave-band filters help identify small spectral differences; an optional upgrade enables 1/3 octave analysis.
The PCE-4xx-EKIT outdoor kit includes a watertight Peli wheeled case, external microphone/power connections and internal batteries for up to 10 days of autonomous operation. The case can remain closed during outdoor measurements, enabling reliable operation in rain, snow or hail. Accessories include microphone wind/water protection, metal mesh and a tripod for outdoor positioning.
