The ASTURO PT-8 pressure tank, is a professional system for controlled feeding of paints, primers, protective coatings and sprayable fluids compatible with spray painting and industrial finishing systems. The unit consists of an 8-litre tank, pressure regulation assembly, pressure gauge, safety and working valves, air/fluid hose and pressure-fed spray gun. This configuration separates the fluid container from the gun, improving handling during application and allowing a more continuous delivery compared with cup-mounted spray gun systems.

The PT-8 model is particularly suitable when the operator needs to apply small to medium quantities of product while keeping pressure and flow stable. The tank operates with a working pressure from 1 to 3.5 bar, while the safety valve operates within the 3.5–4.5 bar range. The working valve pressure is specified as ≤ 5.5 bar. These parameters allow controlled fluid management and help the operator adjust delivery according to product viscosity, surface type, spraying distance and required finish quality.

The unit is designed for connection to one spray gun and includes a 4 m, approximately 13 ft, air/fluid hose with 1/4” F gun fitting. The hose length gives the operator greater freedom of movement around the workpiece, machine, frame or component being coated, reducing the need to reposition the tank continuously. The supplied pressure-fed spray gun is equipped with a 2 mm nozzle opening, suitable for many technical spraying operations requiring good fluid feed and regular atomisation.

In practical use, this pressure tank is suitable for body shops, industrial maintenance, mechanical workshops, automotive departments, machine construction, light fabrication, metal component finishing and technical surface treatment. It can be used for protective coatings, localised painting, applications on mechanical parts, uniform coverage on small and medium surfaces and tasks where the operator benefits from a lighter spray gun, freer hand movement and more stable product pressure.

The precision of this product should not be understood as metrological precision for measuring heights, transmission clearances, form errors or geometric deviations. In this application, precision refers to pressure adjustment, repeatable delivery, flow stability and the ability to maintain consistent spray gun behaviour during operation. Correct regulation helps reduce discontinuities, excess product, surface irregularities, runs and differences in coverage between areas of the same component.

For best performance, the product should be filtered before filling the tank, fluid compatibility with seals and components should be checked, fittings should be tightened correctly, pressure should be increased progressively and spray quality should be tested on a sample surface before working on the final part. The indicated pressure limits must not be exceeded. The tank must always be depressurised before opening, and the hose, gun, nozzle and internal chamber should be cleaned carefully after use, especially when working with products that may dry or leave deposits.
