PROXXON KGS 80 bench mitre saw for clean and safe cutting of non-ferrous metals, plastic and wood. Round die-cast aluminium turntable with rotation up to 45° to both sides and 15° index stops. Motor head with lateral positioning to reduce the distance between clamping point and cut point for vibration-free cuts and reduced chipping. Includes side stop (reach 300 mm) and concentric-jaw clamping with V-groove for round material.
The PROXXON KGS 80 is designed for clean, controlled cutting of non-ferrous metals, plastics and wood. The base features a stable die-cast aluminium round table with CNC-milled guides and bearing seats for precise movement.
For mitre cuts, the round turntable rotates up to 45° left and right with 15° reference stops, allowing opposite-angle cuts without turning the workpiece. The motor head includes lateral positioning to minimise the distance between the clamping point and the cutting point, supporting vibration-free cutting and reduced chipping.
Clamping is performed via concentric clamping jaws with a V-groove for round stock and a front groove for thin workpieces. The ergonomic handle integrates the switch and the head-release function. Supplied with a TCT blade for non-ferrous metals, wood and plastic: 80 × 1.6 × 10 mm, 36 teeth.
