PROXXON DH 40 Thickness Planer compact precision bench machine for planing and accurate thickness adjustment of soft and hardwood up to 40 mm thick and 80 mm wide. The PROXXON DH 40 thickness planer is designed to produce uniform surfaces and accurate thickness on small wooden components. Its load-bearing structure is made of die-cast aluminium with machined seats for bearings and spindles, ensuring vibration-free operation on both soft and hardwood.
The flat-milled aluminium table, supported on three columns, allows precise thickness adjustment in 1/10 mm increments via handwheel with zero-reset graduated ring. Automatic feed with anti-kickback device provides safe and even material transport. The knurled, spring-mounted infeed roller handles irregular workpieces, while the rubber-coated outfeed roller protects the freshly planed surface.
The precision cutter block is fitted with two HSS planer blades. Maximum depth of cut is 0.8 mm, cutter speed 6,000 rpm and feed rate 4.8 m/min. Maximum capacity: 40 mm thickness and 80 mm width.
