The environmental instrument is a compact, portable device with various functions, including peak measurement, Leq calculation, and adjustable measurement intervals. It features the MAX function, which allows freezing the maximum measurement value on the display, making it easier to analyze any limit exceedances. A key feature is the Leq value, which, once the measurement time is set, provides the continuous equivalent sound level, i.e., the time-weighted average of total noise exposure during the selected period.

 

Equipped with memory for 99 values that can be recalled on the display, the device has a backlit screen for easy reading. Additionally, the auto power-off function deactivates the instrument after 10 minutes of inactivity.

 

When the battery symbol appears on the display, it is necessary to replace the three 1.5 V AAA batteries. Classified as a second-class environmental instrument, it is used in workplaces to ensure acoustic protection for workers or for quick measurements of ambient noise.
