ORIGINAL NEBES BLADES

Tadaah chooses to supply for NEBES products, only original saw blades in order to best meet customer needs, avoiding damage to the sawing machine that can cause significant damage to components over time or sudden machine stoppages that render the sawing machine unusable just when it is needed.

Saw blades are of different types. The main features that distinguish them are:

Variable pitch: Creates different p/Z1 values and tooth height S* within one inch. The variable pitch creates a different chip removal at each tooth, which is then periodically repeated every rotation equal to the length of an inch until the workpiece is completely cut.

Constant pitch: The space p/Z1 and the tooth height S* are identical. In this case, the teeth perform the same tooth removal per tooth and per inch from the beginning to the end of the workpiece cut.

Blade thickness "W": the Nebes band saw is supplied with the correct initial setting of the pulleys to ensure a perfect balance between rotation, blade feed and pulley alignment.

Blade height "H": is defined by Nebes during the design of the band saw. An incorrect choice of blade not only results in poor blade life, but also causes damage to the sawing machine components, impairing its operation.

Welding of the blade: an incorrectly aligned and well executed weld causes the blade to skip, resulting in poor blade life.

HSS blade material: there are different types of blade material. Depending on the type of material to be cut, the correct blade material is chosen. Good for micro impact resistance, it is tougher but with lower hardness than the HSSE blade.

HSSE blade material: The HSSE blade has a percentage of cobalt in it. The blade is harder than the HSSE blade but less tough and resistant to micro shocks, in which case its lifetime is considerably shorter than the HSSE blade.

Tadaah offers its customers support and technical advice on the correct choice of blade. Although it may seem an easy choice, the correct band saw blade depends mainly on the shape of the material to be cut. The most common shapes and profiles to be cut are tubular, pipes, with different thicknesses. Solid profiles such as plates, hexagonal bars, round bars of different sizes. Usually the blade pitch is decided on the basis of how much chip has to be discharged from the tooth during removal, the compression of the chip in the tooth space usually being the main cause of wear and premature breakage of the blade.
