The particle sampler is a highly specialized and innovative device designed to perform indicative measurements of the mass concentration of airborne particles, such as PM2.5 and PM10. With a measurement range from 0 to 1,000 µg/m³, this instrument proves particularly effective and accurate in monitoring air quality in various contexts, including offices, laboratories, and industrial environments. Its ability to determine the number of particles in the air and measure environmental variables such as temperature and humidity makes it a fundamental ally for those engaged in environmental analysis and public health.
The operation of the particle sampler is simple and intuitive. During measurements, it is possible to record values through an integrated memory that supports up to 12 measurement series, each composed of 999 points. This functionality is particularly useful for users requiring a detailed and continuous analysis of air quality. Furthermore, the sampling frequency is fully customizable, allowing users to adapt the device to the specific needs of the operational context in which it is employed. Once measurements are completed, data can be easily transferred to a computer via the micro USB interface, which is recognized as external storage on any operating system. The collected data is stored in PDF format, facilitating consultation and sharing of information with colleagues or regulatory bodies.
Another distinctive feature of the sampler is the limit value setting function, equipped with an alarm, which alerts the user when certain levels of PM2.5 are exceeded. This functionality is crucial for preventing risk situations, helping to ensure a safer and healthier work environment. The 8 Wh battery, designed to provide approximately 9 hours of autonomy, allows the sampler to be used for an entire workday, enabling continuous and uninterrupted monitoring. Additionally, the battery is not permanently installed, allowing for easy and quick replacement when necessary, ensuring a long operational life for the device.
The particle sampler comes with a robust carrying case for safe transport, making it easily portable between different work sites. It also includes a 1/4" screw for tripod mounting, which facilitates measurements in various configurations and situations. This flexibility is particularly appreciated in dynamic work environments, where conditions may change frequently, and a device that can quickly adapt is needed.
In conclusion, the particle sampler plays a crucial role in monitoring air quality and represents added value for engineers, technicians, and environmental health professionals. Its multifunctionality and reliability in measurements contribute to ensuring safety and efficiency in work processes. Choosing a particle sampler means investing in an advanced and versatile tool that will significantly contribute to improving air quality and safeguarding public health, positioning itself as an indispensable element in highly regulated and competitive environments.
