LTF 189H Electro-permanent magnetic chuck for milling Model ULTRA QUAD with square poles 50x50mm, Pole pitch 60mm
(Incl. Tax: €3,626.18)
The electro-permanent magnetic plane is a device designed to securely clamp workpieces during machining operations, such as milling. This type of system with square poles is commonly used to facilitate the clamping of metal parts during machining. The electro-permanent system generates a stable and secure high magnetic force without the need for DC power to maintain the force (the magnetic field is generated electrically, but does not require constant power to maintain the clamping). It is particularly useful because it allows workpieces to be clamped stably and precisely, without deforming or damaging them, simplifying and accelerating machining processes. Supplied without control unit.
Built according to EC directives.

The ULTRA QUAD magnetic clamping system guarantees flexibility and fast positioning of the piece when working on CNC machines. Its square pole technology ensures an even magnetic clamping. The high clamping capacity allows different kinds of operations on work pieces such as moulding and forging. What makes the UQ system innovative and unique is the possibility of dramatically reducing machining and idle times.
Advantages
One of the many advantages offered by UQ is the possibility of machining five faces simultaneously. Contouring and through drilling is achieved using a bed of fix polar extensions. (Image A)
Another great advantage is represented by the mobile polar extensions (Image B) which are ideal for raw pieces or pieces with irregular surfaces:
- They perfectly adapt to the work piece surface thanks to a flexible magnetic bed
- Quick and even shimming of the work piece
- Distortion-free clamping
- Longer life of tools
- Excellent planarity of the work piece
