Technical component for the management and distribution of coolant fluid inside the front spindle, designed to allow coolant flow through the central bore. This solution is ideal for effective chip removal and cooling of front-mounted cutting tools.
The 53.23.120 distributor is a spare part designed for the Gildemeister DMG-Mori GM16 multi-spindle automatic lathe and performs the function of distributing fluid inside the front toolholding spindle.
The oil passes through the system at high pressure, and the distributor is supplied together with a high-pressure system. Correct operation requires that the incoming oil is filtered to below 50 microns.
This distributor is mounted on the body of the front spindle and operates correctly even when the front toolholding spindle is rotating.
The function of this distributor is to improve the surface finish of drilled holes, increase the service life of front cutting tools or drills, and remove chips from inside the workpiece during machining, preventing breakage of drills and tools.
Replacement of the distributor is carried out when excessive play occurs in the coupling, causing the coolant to no longer flow through the tool at the correct pressure.
