The right-hand SCSCR ISO cartridges are designed for internal turning, boring, finishing and semi-finishing operations on CNC lathes, conventional lathes and modular tooling systems. The right-hand geometry with C angle= 45° allows internal diameters, chamfers, radii, profiles, internal passes and surfaces requiring a more inclined cutting direction compared with 75°, 90° or 95° configurations to be machined. The insert seat is designed for CCMT insert families and provides stable, repeatable cutting-edge positioning, making insert replacement easier and reducing machine downtime.

The SCSCR configuration is suitable when workpiece geometry, internal accessibility or the machining cycle require a right-hand cartridge with a reduced approach angle. The C angle= 45° supports profiling, internal chamfering, blending, light cuts and finishing operations where cutting forces must be distributed more progressively and interference with walls, bottoms or internal component geometries must be reduced. Compared with cartridges having angles more oriented to shoulder machining, this configuration is less focused on producing sharp 90° shoulders and more suitable for operations requiring accessibility, progressive cutting action and surface-finish control.

Thanks to their positive geometry, CCMT inserts provide smooth and relatively light cutting action, helping reduce machining forces and improve surface quality on steels, stainless steels, cast irons and non-ferrous alloys, depending on the selected grade and chipbreaker. For reliable performance, rigid clamping should be used, tool overhang should be kept short, insert tightening should be checked and alignment with the workpiece axis should be verified. Incorrect mounting or excessive overhang can generate vibration, deflection, irregular insert wear, loss of geometric accuracy and poor surface finish.
