The left-hand SCLCL configuration is suitable when feed direction, turret layout or workpiece geometry require a left-hand tool for internal machining from the correct working side. Compared with right-hand SCLCR versions, SCLCL cartridges work with opposite orientation and allow mirrored operations or reverse internal feed directions, while maintaining the same design logic and compatibility with CCMT inserts. For reliable performance, rigid clamping should be used, tool overhang should be kept short, insert tightening should be checked and alignment with the workpiece axis should be verified.
