The Ergotest DIGI 25U digital hardness tester, designed by GALILEO, is an advanced instrument ideal for testing the hardness of metallic materials with a wide range of applications. It supports loads from 30 kgf to 187.5 kgf, making it perfect for conducting standard Rockwell tests. Additionally, it features a differentiated configuration for performing Brinell and Vickers tests, with specific loads for each type of test, further enhancing the versatility of the instrument. Thanks to an intuitive interface with a color touch screen display, all functions can be easily monitored, and real-time results can be obtained. This hardness tester is ideal for laboratories, workshops, and industrial environments, offering precision and reliability for hardness testing on a wide range of metallic materials.

The Ergotest DIGI durometer represents one of the most advanced solutions in the Galileo range, designed to provide precise and reliable hardness measurements for metallic materials. Thanks to the integration of sophisticated software, the device can fully control all the instrument functions and manage the entire measurement cycle, from load selection to test execution. The new simplified and intuitive operational interface features a control panel with a color touch screen, allowing for real-time display of test information in both alphanumeric and graphical formats. This improvement significantly enhances the usability of the device in industrial environments, laboratories, and workshops, where hardness testing on a wide range of metallic materials is required.

The Ergotest DIGI is highly versatile, as it can perform standard Rockwell tests with loads of 150, 100, and 60 kgf, as well as Brinell tests with loads ranging from 187.5 to 31.25 kgf, and Vickers tests with 10060 and 30 kgf loads. It is capable of generating and reading Brinell and Vickers impressions with the optional optical kit, ensuring precise measurement of the impressions. Load selection is done via an ergonomic knob, while the test cycle runs automatically, with a signal confirming the correct application of the preload, thus improving the speed and reliability of the testing process. The resolution for standard Rockwell measurements is 0.1 units, ensuring high precision in the test results.

Another key advantage of the Ergotest DIGI is the ability to easily configure the load application time, with a setting range from 1 to 99 seconds, allowing it to adapt to different testing requirements. The integration of a USB port and LAN connection allows for easy data transfer to external devices, such as USB drives or company networks, facilitating data management and traceability. Furthermore, nominal values and tolerances can be entered directly into the software, which also provides statistical parameters such as average value, standard deviation, maximum and minimum values, and the number of tests conducted. The software can also generate histograms and line charts, offering a clear view of the trends in the test results.

The durometer is equipped with advanced automatic diagnostic functions that monitor the correct functioning of the instrument during the test process. Additionally, the entire test cycle is electronically controlled, minimizing operational errors. Its compact dimensions (230 mm width, 615 mm depth, and 930 mm height) and weight of 150 kg ensure stability and robustness, while still being easy to use, making it suitable for smaller workspaces. The device can be certified according to ISO standards by ACCREDIA, upon request, to ensure the traceability of the results. The certification includes direct and indirect verification for standard and superficial Rockwell tests, as well as load verification for Brinell and Vickers tests, if needed.
