The Galileo COMP 25 Durometer is a manual, automatic instrument perfect for performing hardness tests on the Brinell scale, with the option to adapt to Rockwell and Vickers tests using optional accessories. With a load capacity ranging from 10 kgf to 250 kgf and multiple measurement scales, it ensures reliable and precise results in industrial environments, laboratories, and workshops.

The Galileo COMP 25 hardness tester is a high-precision analogue manual instrument designed primarily for Brinell scale hardness testing. However, it can also be configured for Rockwell and Vickers tests using optional accessories. This hardness tester is ideal for industrial environments, laboratories, and workshops, ensuring reliability and high accuracy in measuring the hardness of various metallic materials, in compliance with international standards ISO 6506 and ASTM E10 for Brinell hardness tests.

The hardness tester offers a wide range of configurable loads for each type of test, enabling precise hardness measurements on materials of varying strength and density. For the Brinell scale, the tester supports variable loads ranging from 10 kgf to 250 kgf and applies specific indenters with adjustable pressure, making it extremely versatile in laboratory settings. Thanks to optional accessories, the instrument can also be used for Rockwell and Vickers tests, meeting diverse industrial requirements.

Made from high-quality materials, the tester is built for durability and resistance. It supports workpieces up to a maximum height of 295 mm and a depth of 220 mm, making it suitable for large components without compromising stability or precision. Equipped with an 80 mm dual-scale comparator, it provides clear and detailed readings with a resolution of 1 Rockwell unit and an accuracy of 0.2 units. For Brinell tests, the tester can be fitted with digital microscopes for precise indentation measurement, enhancing analytical accuracy.

Additionally, the Galileo COMP 25 complies with ISO standards for hardness testing verification and can be certified by the SIT (Italian Calibration Service), ensuring traceability and reliability of results.
