Machine taps for American thread UNF fine ANSI B-1.1 with reinforced shank DIN 371 for taps up to a nominal diameter of 3/8", and with reduced shank DIN 374 for taps over 3/8".
Universal tap made of special steel and with high-performance multi-layer coating, ideal for tapping a wide range of workpieces made of various materials, especially steel, aluminium alloys, light metals, nickel alloys and titanium. The spiral grind simplifies chip evacuation and makes it an excellent product for blind holes. It easily achieves thread depths of 2.5 times the nominal diameter for blind holes and 3 times the nominal diameter for through holes.
