Equipped with an octave band filter (expandable to 1/3 octave), it detects subtle frequency variations, while A, B, C, and Z frequency weighting ensures accurate noise assessment. The device also supports Fast, Slow, and Impulse time weighting, making it ideal for capturing sudden, transient noises. With a measuring range of 22 to 136 dB(A) and a frequency response from 3 Hz to 20 kHz, it handles diverse acoustic environments.
An integrated datalogger stores readings on a microSD card (included), and the USB interface allows direct data transfer to a PC for analysis using the included software. Common applications include workplace noise monitoring, environmental noise assessment, hearing protection compliance, and exposure level evaluation. Additional features include configurable measurement profiles, threshold settings, and a multilingual menu.
