The force gauge for timing belts is an optical measuring device for determining the tension force, consisting of a device and a sensor connected to a semi-rigid probe. The device measures the belt tension while stationary, detecting the frequency via a sensor and indicates the value on the display. The tension force meter for timing belts can also calculate the tension force with this data and can indicate the length and mass of the belt.

The belt force meter offers unit options between N and Pound-Force, displaying values in Hz. With input of length and mass, it calculates and displays the tension force in Newtons.
