Stroboscope with fixed installation and intelligent LED technology offers the main advantage of eliminating the component most subject to wear, the xenon tube. The LEDs of the RT STROBE 5000 LED model are virtually indestructible and have negligible consumption. Thanks to the LEDs, it is possible to achieve a much higher flash frequency (flashes per minute). Additionally, the LEDs emit more pleasant light and produce quieter flashes.

Adjustment of the fixed stroboscope RT STROBE 5000 LED is done directly on the object to be observed through the integrated control system RT Strobe ECO. The small control unit connects to one of the sockets on the back of the instrument. Thanks to standard connectors, it is possible to use both the signal from a machine and that of a control unit. Switching between the two inputs is done via the switch located on the back of the stroboscope.

A stroboscope is a device used to obtain a fixed image of moving parts, essential in measurement technology. In a printing house, for example, it is used to monitor printing rollers, while in industry it is used to measure the speed of rotating parts.

Before purchasing a stroboscope, it is important to define its use. The frequency of the generated flashes is a crucial aspect: some industrial models reach thousands of hertz, allowing optical inspection of fast sequences.

The light source is another decisive factor. Modern LED flashes offer powerful LED arrays that allow the complete illumination of an object, comparable to xenon lamps. Some stroboscopes can enlarge the LED array to correctly inspect wide and moving parts, such as paper strips. There are also models with a UV LED light source used for non-destructive maintenance checks.

Another selection criterion is the trigger of the light source. A simple flash has an internal regulator, while a more sophisticated stroboscope is equipped with a trigger input for external speed sensors, ensuring that the flashes are always synchronized with the object's speed. This is useful when the rollers rotate at different speeds, such as in paper production or printed product testing.

Modern flashes also offer flash frequency adjustment and the ability to adjust the phase shift, briefly delaying the flash pulse to obtain an "optically rotating" image. This moves the marks on the moving parts to the correct position.

For portable stroboscopes, power is a key factor. If use is sporadic, a battery model is sufficient, but for frequent use a model with rechargeable batteries is recommended. Fixed models are generally powered by a power supply or directly from the mains.

The IP protection rating of the stroboscope is another important factor, indicating the level of protection against dust and water. For harsh environments, a model with an IP67 protection rating is ideal, as it offers optimal protection from external environmental influences.
