The coating thickness gauge is a device for the non-destructive measurement of coatings such as paints, colors, plastics, and more on ferrous (steel, iron) and non-ferrous metal bases. The interchangeable and external probe allows for the measurement of the coating both in external and internal points. Four measurement modes can be set via the instrument's menu. The thickness gauge measures the thickness of non-magnetic coatings, such as paint, plastic, chrome, copper, zinc, enamel on steel and iron, and the thickness of non-conductive coatings such as paint, plastic, enamel, paper, glass, rubber on copper, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and anodized aluminum
