The PROXXON AH 80 bench surface planer is designed for accurate edge and surface planing on soft and hardwood, delivering clean results with stable, low-vibration operation. Its rigid die-cast aluminium structure with CNC-machined bores provides the precision foundation required for consistent work.
At the core is a ball-bearing cutter block fitted with replaceable HSS knives, driven by a special DC motor via a toothed belt for smooth, quiet running. The ground work table (400 × 80 mm) and the right infeed/outfeed section with fine screw-knob adjustment allow controlled passes up to a 0.8 mm depth of cut.
The longitudinal fence is adjustable and tilts 45° to both sides (with graduated scale). The knife guard is designed not to obstruct the work. A relay switch provides emergency stop and protection against automatic restart after a power failure. Dust extraction port and push stick included.
