The pusher rod provides support along the axis of rotation and at the end section of the bar to be machined.
In addition to the supporting function, it receives transmission from a hydraulic motor, generating the bar feed required to produce a new part. This operation is repeated multiple times until the bar is completely machined.
The pusher rod does not rotate; the bar rotates via the rotating units mounted on the pusher rod. On the rotating unit, the bar-pushing collet is installed to contain the centrifugal force of the bar during rotation, to recover the bar remnant, and to ensure precise bar feed for part machining.
