Variable axial load Live centers, Max recommended load daN 800
The component parts of the variable axial load live centers are made from hardened steel.These live centers are particularly suitable for the automatic recovery of thermal expansion on the piece being processed. CM Variable axial load Live centers have been manufactured and assembled with WPS (Water Protection System) technoclogy, which exclude the entry of chips, dust or coolant as they have special seals inside and an internal permanent grease lubrication system. The permenent grease present ensures their approximate life of about 1200 hours for each model, and they generally do not require maintenance but periodic overhaul is recommended. Slight grease leakage is normal during the first few hours of operation. If a tailstock is not used for long periods, it is advisable to start operating for a few minutes at low speed to allow the internal grease to resume its lubricating function.
