To mount a screw-nut assembly, the operator first fixes the tool setter to the spindle or a stable machine support, just as for tool setting. The tool becomes a precise reference for the position of the group. Next, the screw-nut assembly is brought toward the tool and adjusted until the dial indicator shows zero, confirming that the distance between screw and nut matches the specifications. This method allows correct assembly without complex calculations or repeated trials, as the indicator provides an immediate visual reference.
