The PCE-ATP 1-KIT2 ATP analyser for liquids is a professional kit for quickly checking hygiene and organic contamination in liquid samples. It measures from 0 to 999999 RLU in 10 seconds and includes liquid test tubes, a 3.5" graphic LCD, memory for 10,000 records and 256 users, USB and Bluetooth interface, automatic self-diagnosis and a 3.7 V / 2300 mAh lithium battery.

The PCE-ATP 1-KIT2 ATP analyser for liquids is a professional system designed for rapid hygiene control and organic contamination testing in liquid samples. The kit is suitable for companies and technicians who need to verify the presence of biological residues, microorganisms or contamination in water, process liquids, cleaning solutions, rinse water and samples taken from production, healthcare, food or pharmaceutical environments in a simple, fast and documentable way.

The measuring principle is based on ATP detection. ATP, adenosine triphosphate, is a molecule present in biological cells and organic residues. ATP determination provides a rapid indication of the contamination level of the sample. After the sample is inserted into the dedicated liquid test tube and the reagent is activated, the test tube is placed into the instrument’s measuring chamber and the result is displayed in RLU, Relative Light Units, in approximately 10 seconds.

The PCE-ATP 1-KIT2 is particularly useful when the inspection concerns not only surfaces but also liquids and solutions used in cleaning, production or rinsing processes. It can be used to check washing water, rinse water after sanitation, liquids present in process lines, samples taken from tanks, containers, plants, circuits and systems where the presence of residual organic matter may indicate insufficient cleaning or possible contamination.

The measuring range is 0 - 999999 RLU, with background noise of ±5 RLU and a measuring time of 10 seconds. The RLU value allows the contamination of the analysed sample to be quantified quickly. A lower value generally indicates a lower level of organic residue, while a higher value may indicate contamination and should be assessed according to the internal limits defined by the company or control protocol.

The kit includes liquid test tubes, an essential element for performing specific checks on liquid samples rather than only on surfaces. This equipment makes the instrument suitable for inspections in the food industry, beverage production, laboratories, healthcare, pharmacies, professional cleaning and quality departments, where it is important to check not only work surfaces but also the effectiveness of washing, rinsing and sanitation cycles through liquid sample analysis.

The 3.5" graphic LCD provides clear result reading and practical function management. The operator can quickly view the measured value, associate it with the control point and proceed with the required checks. The portable structure and approximate weight of 280 g make the instrument suitable for use directly in production departments, laboratories, industrial kitchens, healthcare environments and areas where checks must be carried out close to the process.

The internal memory can store up to 10,000 records and manage 256 users. This function is important for companies that need to document inspection activities, distinguish operators, archive results and reconstruct measurement history. Date and time recording links each test to the moment of inspection, making audits, periodic checks, non-conformity analysis and quality documentation easier to manage.

USB and Bluetooth interfaces allow data transfer to analysis software. Recorded values can be processed later, compared over time and used to create inspection reports. This function is particularly useful for HACCP managers, internal laboratories, food companies, cleaning companies, healthcare facilities and quality departments that need to demonstrate the effectiveness of hygiene and sanitation procedures.

The self-diagnosis function performs an automatic check before each use. This verifies that the instrument is ready for measurement and helps reduce the risk of checks being carried out with a device that is not properly prepared. Automatic self-calibration at every use makes the procedure simpler and more repeatable, especially where the instrument is used by several operators or in different departments.

The PCE-ATP 1-KIT2 is powered by a 3.7 V / 2300 mAh lithium battery. Operating time is approximately 10 hours, while standby time is up to 600 hours. Operating conditions are +5 - +40 °C with 20 - 80% RH, while storage conditions are -10 - +40 °C with maximum 60% RH. The compact 189 x 70 x 35 mm dimensions make the device easy to carry and suitable for field use.

In the food and beverage sector, the instrument can support inspection of rinse water, residual liquids, samples taken after washing equipment, containers, pipes, tanks and surfaces indirectly connected to the process. In healthcare and pharmacies, it can be used for rapid checks in areas where cleanliness must be verified methodically. In professional cleaning companies, it helps document service effectiveness through liquid samples linked to washing and sanitation activities.

For reliable results, representative sampling points should be defined, suitable liquid test tubes should be used, sampling procedures should be followed and internal limit values should be established according to liquid type, process and risk level. When comparing measurements over time, the sample should be taken in the same way and under the same operating conditions to obtain consistent and comparable data.

The PCE-ATP 1-KIT2 ATP analyser for liquids is therefore a professional solution for rapid and documentable hygiene control in liquid samples. The combination of 10-second ATP measurement, included liquid test tubes, memory for 10,000 records, user management, USB, Bluetooth, automatic self-diagnosis and portable structure makes it suitable for HACCP, quality control, food industry, healthcare, laboratories and professional cleaning.
