ASTURO AB-17G low pressure manual gravity feed spray gun with 600 cc nylon cup, aluminium body, stainless steel needle and nozzle. Suitable for coating ferrous materials, wood and plastic, body shop applications, primer application and professional finishing. Compatible with single-component paints, liquid colours, two-coat materials, heavy enamels, two-component paints and water-based paints, with fine air pressure adjustment for controlled atomisation.

The ASTURO AB-17G low pressure manual gravity feed spray gun is a professional spray gun designed for coating applications on ferrous materials, wood and plastic. The upper gravity feed configuration allows the coating material to flow naturally towards the needle and nozzle assembly, supporting a regular material supply and better control during application. It is suitable for body shops, industrial maintenance, mechanical workshops, finishing departments and technical coating operations where primers, enamels or paints must be applied with good surface uniformity.

The 600 cc nylon gravity feed cup provides a suitable capacity for small and medium-sized surfaces as well as continuous touch-up or finishing work, while maintaining good handling. The aluminium body helps reduce overall weight and makes the spray gun practical for daily professional use. The stainless steel needle and nozzle provide wear resistance and compatibility with different coating materials, including water-based paints, enamels, liquid colours and two-component paints.

The AB-17G model can be used with single-component paints and enamels, two-coat materials, heavy enamels, two-component paints, liquid colours and water-based paints. This versatility makes it useful when different applications must be carried out with one tool, from primer application to finishing, from cosmetic restoration of components to coating metal, plastic or wooden parts. In body shop work, it is suitable for preparation coats, primers and finishing operations; in industrial environments, it can be used on mechanical components, covers, panels, supports, guards, equipment and machine tool parts.

Fine air pressure adjustment allows the operator to adapt atomisation to the coating material, viscosity, working distance and required surface quality. Correct adjustment is essential to obtain a uniform film and reduce defects such as overspray, orange peel, runs, material build-up or poor coverage. Before use, the paint should be filtered, the dilution checked according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and a spray test carried out on a sample surface. Air and material flow should then be adjusted progressively until a stable spray pattern is obtained.

During application, it is important to maintain a constant distance from the surface, work with regular overlapping passes and control movement speed according to the amount of material delivered. On complex shapes, edges, corners or profiled surfaces, the spray gun must be adjusted carefully to avoid localised excess material and ensure even coverage. The precision of this product is not related to dimensional measurement, heights, transmission play or geometric errors; it refers to controlled material deposition, atomisation quality and the regularity of the applied finish.

The ASTURO AB-17G spray gun is CE-compliant and designed for operators who require a robust, easy-to-manage tool for professional use. To keep performance stable over time, the cup, needle, nozzle and internal passages should be cleaned thoroughly after every use, preventing paint residues from drying inside the system. Proper maintenance helps preserve spray regularity, reduce clogging and maintain more repeatable application quality in future operations.
