This parameter, also known as MFI, indicates the flow behavior and viscosity of polymers under specified conditions of temperature and pressure. Technical specifications:

Preconfigured settings for standard plastic types such as PS, PP, PE, ABS, PC, PMMA, and others, reduce setup time. Additional polymers can be permanently added, along with their specific processing parameters. During a typical measurement, a granular sample is introduced into a heated barrel and subjected to a defined load. The molten polymer is extruded through a nozzle of standard dimensions, and the discharged mass is weighed after a set period, yielding the mass flow rate in g/10 min.

The test stand plays a critical role in evaluating polymer melt characteristics before and during manufacturing. It helps identify variations in polymerization degree, which directly affect the mechanical properties of molded components.
