The ASTURO SSP G70/SSP art. 0012500 semi-professional spray gun is designed for low-pressure remote material supply through a K24 double diaphragm pump or pressure pot. Its stainless steel needle and nozzle make it suitable for clear coats, paints, enamels, metallic finishes, two-component products, glues and low-viscosity adhesives. It is intended for bodyshops, woodworking, paper, packaging and industrial finishing applications requiring continuous product feeding.

The ASTURO SSP G70/SSP art. 0012500 is a semi-professional spray gun designed for low-pressure remote material feeding. Unlike spray guns fitted with a cup directly on the gun body, this model receives material from an external source, such as a K24 double diaphragm pump or a pressure pot. This configuration supports more continuous operation, reduces the weight handled by the operator and allows larger quantities of coating material to be used compared with conventional gravity-feed or suction-feed cups.

The spray gun is suitable for use in bodyshops, woodworking, furniture production, paper processing, packaging, metal finishing and coating operations on plastic components. Remote material supply makes the product particularly practical for repetitive cycles and for spraying panels, structures, furnishing elements, shaped surfaces, industrial parts and workpieces that require several continuous passes without frequent interruptions for refilling.

The ASTURO SSP G70/SSP can be used with clear coats, paints, liquid shades, double-layer metallic finishes, pastel shades, heavy enamels, single-component enamels, two-component products, glues and low-viscosity adhesives. Actual compatibility must always be checked according to the chemical composition of the product, viscosity, thinner type, nozzle configuration and supply conditions. Two-component products and glues that tend to harden quickly require especially careful cleaning of the system after each working cycle.

The stainless steel needle and nozzle help support the durability of the delivery assembly when used with compatible coating materials and liquid products. Spray quality, however, depends on the complete system: pump or pressure pot, hose, filter, material pressure, atomizing air, spray gun adjustment, product viscosity and selected nozzle configuration. Unfiltered materials may introduce particles into the circuit, affect the spray fan shape and cause application irregularities or clogging.

Material-flow adjustment allows the operator to adapt delivery quantity to the product characteristics and required coating thickness. Spray-fan adjustment makes it possible to select a wider pattern for large surfaces or a more concentrated pattern for edges, profiles, corners and complex workpieces. Adjustments should be made progressively, carrying out a preliminary spray test on a sample panel before beginning the final application.

For a regular finish, the spray gun should be kept at a constant distance from the surface and moved with parallel, uniform and partially overlapping passes. Moving too slowly can cause material build-up, runs or thickness variations, while excessive speed can reduce coverage and create less uniform areas. It is advisable to start the movement before pulling the trigger and stop material flow before the end of the pass, helping avoid excessive deposits at the edges.

This spray gun is not a measuring instrument and does not check dimensions, heights, transmission play or geometric form errors. Its precision is application-related and depends on the ability to maintain a stable spray pattern, repeatable material flow and uniform coating deposition. In a properly adjusted process, this helps improve surface consistency, reduce rework and limit material waste.

Compressed-air quality is essential. The air line should include suitable filtration, pressure regulation and condensate separation, because water, oil or particles in the air can compromise the finish and generate surface defects. The material must also be prepared according to the manufacturer’s instructions, filtered before feeding and kept within viscosity conditions compatible with the selected configuration.

After every use, particularly with two-component paints, clear coats or liquid adhesives, the spray gun, hose and feed circuit must be thoroughly cleaned using a product compatible with the material applied. The needle, nozzle, internal passages and fittings must remain clean to prevent spray-pattern changes, dripping, reduced flow or closing problems. Regular inspection of seals, fittings, hose and feed components helps keep the system efficient and reduce downtime.

The ASTURO SSP G70/SSP art. 0012500 is therefore a reliable solution for operators who require an externally fed spray gun for professional coating and adhesive applications. Use with a K24 pump or pressure pot, together with the stainless steel needle and nozzle, supports a broad range of work with improved autonomy, control and operational continuity compared with systems equipped with a small integrated cup.
