The 1236 series 230V AC LED tubular lamp with borosilicate glass is designed for lighting industrial machinery, plants and work areas exposed to oils, coolants, dust and vibrations. The Ø60 mm protective tube made of 5 mm borosilicate glass provides high mechanical and chemical resistance, while the opal diffuser ensures uniform 6000 K illumination. With IP67 protection, IP68 cable gland, N.B.R. oil-resistant seals and mounting by side slots or optional brackets, it is ideal for machine tools, automation, maintenance and industrial production.

The 1236 series 230V AC LED tubular lamp with borosilicate glass is an industrial lighting system designed for installation on machinery, production equipment, automated lines and technical environments where stable, protected and reliable illumination is required, even in the presence of mechanical stress, chemical agents, vibrations, oils, coolants and dust. It is designed to improve visibility in the working area and support inspection, adjustment, maintenance and process monitoring operations.

The main body consists of an external borosilicate glass protective tube, with 60 mm diameter and 5 mm thickness, selected for its high mechanical and chemical resistance. Borosilicate glass is particularly suitable for industrial environments because it offers better resistance to thermal shock, technical liquid splashes and exposure to aggressive substances than many standard plastic materials. This makes the lamp suitable for machine tools, processing equipment, production lines, cabins, test benches, assembly areas and zones where lamp body protection is essential.

The lighting system uses LEDs with an opal diffuser, providing a more uniform and less glaring light distribution. The opal diffuser helps reduce concentrated reflections and improves visibility of the illuminated area, which is important when operators need to inspect metal surfaces, tools, rotating parts, machined components, graduated scales, indicators, loading and unloading areas or moving components. The 6000 K color temperature produces a cool white light, suitable for technical environments where detail visibility is required.

In terms of performance, the series offers luminous efficiency above 150 lm/W, ensuring good energy efficiency, with CRI 80, suitable for most industrial applications where shapes, surfaces, edges and workpiece conditions must be clearly identified. The stated energy efficiency class is A++, while the power supply is 230V AC with 50/60 Hz frequency, allowing direct integration into many industrial systems and machine electrical panels designed for alternating current.

The side closures are made of PA6 and include N.B.R. oil-resistant rubber O-Ring seals. Each side closure consists of two parts, tightened by three stainless steel screws that expand the O-Ring and ensure proper sealing of the complete assembly. This construction is particularly important in machine tool applications, where the lighting unit may be exposed to emulsified oil, coolant, oil mist, chips, technical cleaning agents and localized washing.

Electrical connection is provided through an M16x1.5 cable gland with IP68 protection and strain relief device, designed to improve wiring safety and protect the cable from accidental pulling. The complete lamp has an IP67 protection rating, making it suitable for industrial environments with dust, splashes, humidity and process liquids. The insulation class is Class I, so installation must be carried out with proper protective grounding and in compliance with applicable electrical regulations.

The lamp can be mounted using side slots integrated into the end caps or with optional steel brackets, depending on the installation type and machine structure. The integrated slots allow a clean and compact installation, while brackets provide greater flexibility when positioning the lamp on frames, guards, cabins, rails, profiles or support surfaces not directly prepared for mounting. The fixing method should be selected considering vibration, beam orientation, maintenance access and protection against accidental impact.

Correct use requires careful evaluation of the mounting position. The lamp should be installed to avoid direct glare toward the operator and to reduce reflections and shadows in the working area. It is advisable to orient the light so that it reaches the useful zone without interfering with machine movements, doors, guards, rotating elements, guides or chip removal systems. On machines subject to vibration, the mounting should be checked periodically to ensure lamp stability and correct sealing of the side closures.

When selecting the product, it is important to consider available length, lamp size, fixing method, distance from the illuminated area, presence of liquids or chemical agents and required protection rating.
