PCE Instruments PCE-GM 80-ICA is a gloss meter with an external sensor for gloss measurements on small surfaces and in hard-to-reach areas. 60° geometry with a Ø 4.5 mm measuring spot and a range up to 1000 GU. Internal memory for 1,245 readings and PC data transfer via micro USB (saved as a text file with date/time). Includes calibration standard and an ISO calibration certificate.
PCE Instruments PCE-GM 80-ICA is a professional gloss meter designed for fast and repeatable gloss measurements on coatings and materials, even when the available surface is small or the measuring position is difficult. The external gloss sensor makes it ideal for checks on installed components, complex parts and areas that are not easily accessible.
Measurements are performed with 60° geometry and a Ø 4.5 mm spot size, suitable for small parts and narrow surfaces. The instrument covers a range up to 1000 GU and provides high accuracy, making it suitable for quality control in production and laboratories, for example on paints, coatings, plastics, treated metals and glossy or semi-gloss surfaces.
For reliable traceability, a calibration standard is included to verify the instrument at any time, along with the ISO calibration certificate (ICA version). One-hand operation supports quick, consistent measurements during in-process inspections.
The PCE-GM 80-ICA stores up to 1,245 values internally and allows data logging for later analysis. Data transfer to a PC is via micro USB with no driver or dedicated software required: readings are stored as a text file and are recorded with date and time for straightforward reporting and documentation.
