PCE-BTM-2000A is an optical force gauge for timing belts. It consists of a device with a sensor connected to a semi-rigid probe. It measures belt tension when stationary and detects the frequency of vibrations generated by a small pulse. It shows the values on the display and calculates the tension force, length and mass of the belt.

The force measuring device for timing belts offers the possibility of changing units between Newton (SI) and Pound-Force (Anglo-Saxon). The values on the display are always in Hz and the device automatically calculates the tension force in Newtons when the length and mass of the belt are entered. The graphic menu can be navigated in 6 different languages. In addition, it has a built-in memory that can hold up to 750 values, divided into 15 rows of 50 values each for quality control analysis.
The force gauge for timing belts is shipped ready to use and includes the device, a standard sensor with semi-rigid probe, a magnetic holder, batteries and instruction manual. A carrying case, a hammer, a tripod, a sensor with a longer semi-rigid probe and a spiral cable are available separately.
