OMCN 102 is a 12 t single-acting hydraulic jack kit for controlled pushing, straightening, opening and spacing of metal parts. The manual pump sends oil to the cylinder through a flexible hose and allows force to be increased gradually; after pressure is released, the system returns to its rest position according to the cylinder arrangement. It is a practical solution where a fixed press is unavailable or where the point to be corrected must be reached directly on a vehicle or structure.
ART. 102 includes the pump, cylinder, hose, threaded extension pipes L= 200 mm, L= 300 mm, L= 400 mm and L= 500 mm, couplings, punches, rubber heads, concave plate, opening pliers, nipple and reaction bases. Compared with ART. 101, it does not include chains, the chain plate or the pulling and closing plates. It is therefore the right choice where work consists mainly of compression, opening or spacing and no chain-pulling configuration is required.
The supplied accessories make it possible to configure the contact area correctly. The W-punch concentrates force on defined points, the wedge punch creates or enlarges gaps, rubber heads help distribute load on panels and the concave plate stabilises tubes or rounded surfaces. The support base and piston-side or cylinder-side plates enlarge the reaction area and reduce the risk of movement when working on flat, resistant surfaces.
OMCN 102 is particularly useful in body shops for restoring panel and structural alignment, in commercial-vehicle service departments, in mechanical workshops for correcting brackets and housings, in fabrication shops for aligning metal elements and in industrial maintenance for opening, closing or positioning components. In railway, energy and infrastructure work it can be used for maintenance and alignment duties, provided that load limits and site safety procedures are established by the responsible operator.
Kit selection should begin with the type of work: ART. 102 offers a comprehensive pushing set but not chain pulling. Before use, clean threads and reaction surfaces, fit only fully threaded accessories, keep the cylinder and extension pipes on the same line of action and use a reaction point capable of withstanding the applied force. Extension pipes improve reach but also increase the risk of instability; OMCN warns that with extension pipes and/or accessories, effective capacity may be reduced by up to 50% of rated capacity. Do not exceed that limit, work off-axis or stand in front of the load.
For workshop organisation, the kit can be combined with the ART. CM metal box or the ART. CPT trolley. For frequent cycles, consider the ART. 357 air-hydraulic pump; the ART. 108 short cylinder is useful where available height does not allow the standard cylinder to be used.
OMCN ART. 101 – Hydraulic body repair jack kit contents
| Ref. | Qty. | Component | Function / application |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | 1 | Manual hydraulic pump | Manually supplies hydraulic pressure to the kit cylinder. |
| 02 | 1 | Hydraulic hose L= 1.8 m | Connects the pump to the cylinder and enables remote operation from the pushing point. |
| 03 | 1 | Hydraulic cylinder with terminal accessories | Pushing element for straightening, opening, alignment and geometry recovery operations. |
| 04 | 1 | Four-point W-punch | For localised pushing operations and support on irregular surfaces. |
| 05 | 1 | Large rubber head | Distributes the load over a wider area and helps prevent marking sheet metal. |
| 06 | 1 | Small rubber head | For controlled pushing operations in confined areas or on small contact points. |
| 07 | 1 | Wedge-shaped punch | For separating, opening or spacing metal parts and bodywork components. |
| 08 | 1 | Concave plate | Reaction point for curved profiles, tubes and rounded surfaces. |
| 09 | 1 | Cylinder nipple | Connection fitting for configuring accessories and extension pipes. |
| 10 | 1 | Opening pliers | Accessory for spreading and opening metal parts; declared capacity 1 t. |
| 11 | 1 | Piston support base | Improves stability of the pushing point on flat surfaces. |
| 12 | 1 | Piston-side extension plate | Increases the supporting area and distributes the applied load. |
| 13 | 1 | Cylinder-side extension plate | Stabilises the cylinder on the reaction point during pushing operations. |
| 14 | 3 | Extension pipe couplings | Allow modular connection of threaded extension pipes. |
| 15 | 1 | Extension pipe L= 200 mm | Extends the working reach of the cylinder. |
| 16 | 1 | Extension pipe L= 300 mm | Extends the working reach of the cylinder. |
| 17 | 1 | Extension pipe L= 400 mm | Extends the working reach of the cylinder. |
| 18 | 1 | Extension pipe L= 500 mm | Extends the working reach for operations inside deep or recessed areas. |
| 19 | 1 | Piston terminal cap | Protects or closes the piston end when no working accessory is fitted. |
| 20 | 1 | Cylinder terminal cap | Protects the cylinder side and the associated connection point. |
| 21 | 1 | Cylinder thread protection ring | Protects the cylinder thread during operation, transport and accessory changes. |
Note: when extension pipes and accessories are used, the system working capacity must be considered reduced by up to 50% of the rated capacity. Always keep the pushing axis correctly aligned.
