Caporali self-tightening chucks with a shank compatible with MAS 403 (JIS B 6339) tool holders are highly versatile chucks suitable for clamping milling cutters, twist drills, and other rotating tools with shanks of various diameters and lengths.
Clamping is simple and stable, achieved by rotating a knurled ring nut that optimizes manual clamping force. They are equipped with titanium jaws that ensure clamping precision and constant force even after repeated use.

The MAS BT 403 chuck shank features a rear thread for the installation of various types of drawbars or retention knobs, allowing for automatic tool changer compatibility on CNC machines.
For versions of the self-tightening chucks intended for tools with shanks up to a maximum diameter of 16 mm, manual tightening using the ring nut alone may be insufficient. In such cases, the ring nut includes notches on its outer diameter, enabling the use of a hook or sector spanner to apply greater clamping force for larger tool diameters.
