Röhm HG Pro live centre in standard design with draw-off nut, hardened and ground body, 60° tip angle, lifetime lubrication and three-bearing system for high axial and radial loads. Suitable for workpiece support and counter-clamping on turning and grinding machines, it offers maximum concentricity deviation of 0.005 mm and easier removal during maintenance or setup changeover.

Röhm HG Pro live centres in standard design with draw-off nut are precision components designed for counter-clamping and axial support of the workpiece during turning and grinding operations. They are suitable for standard clamping situations where the workpiece must remain stable, centred and correctly supported during rotation, reducing vibration, deflection, instability and geometric variations that may affect surface quality, concentricity and dimensional repeatability.

The HG Pro series retains the characteristics of a high-performance standard live centre, but integrates a draw-off nut that makes removal from the machine seat or support system easier. This feature is particularly useful when the live centre is mounted in precise and tight seats, or when setups are changed frequently. The draw-off nut allows more controlled removal, reducing the risk of damaging the seat, the live centre body or the coupling surface during maintenance, replacement or production changeover.

The hardened and ground body ensures wear resistance, mounting stability and geometric accuracy. Hardening improves service life even under continuous operating conditions, while grinding provides accurate fitting with the machine and contributes to smooth rotation. The 60° tip angle is a standard geometry suitable for most centring and support applications on shafts, pins, bushes, cylindrical components, turned parts and precision mechanical workpieces.

The internal three-bearing system allows the live centre to withstand high axial and radial loads while maintaining smooth, stable and reliable rotation even under combined stresses. Lifetime lubrication reduces the need for periodic maintenance and makes the HG Pro suitable for production departments with repetitive cycles, frequent use and the need for continuous operation. This is important in workshops working with industrial turning, grinding, series production and setups requiring quick changeover.

The specified maximum concentricity deviation of 0.005 mm makes this live centre suitable for operations where good control of the workpiece axis is required, helping limit runout errors, ovality, form defects and dimensional variations. In turning, the HG Pro helps stabilise long, slender or deflection-sensitive workpieces; in grinding, it supports regular rotation and reliable contact during finishing operations.

This category is suitable for machine shops, turning and grinding departments, preventive and corrective maintenance, machine-tool builders, automotive companies, aerospace, precision engineering and turned-part production. It is used for machining shafts, pins, bushes, cylindrical components, metal parts and workpieces requiring stable axial support during roughing, finishing or grinding.

For technicians, maintenance operators and workshop specialists, the correct choice of live centre must consider machine size, expected load, rotational speed, material being machined, setup-change frequency and required precision level. Correct selection improves process stability, reduces rejects, preserves the accuracy of the machine-fixture-workpiece system and simplifies maintenance operations thanks to the draw-off nut.

Tadaah offers Röhm HG Pro live centres with draw-off nut as a technical solution for professionals requiring a universal, robust, precise live centre that is easier to remove than standard versions without nut. The combination of hardened and ground body, 60° tip angle, three-bearing system, lifetime lubrication, 0.005 mm concentricity deviation and draw-off nut makes this series suitable for industrial machining where stability, service life, precision and fast intervention are essential requirements.
