Parallel Lathe OPTIMUM Model TU 2506 is highly versatile, designed to meet the precision machining needs in industrial and professional environments. Equipped with a powerful maintenance-free motor, this lathe delivers high performance, reducing operational costs and ensuring uninterrupted use. The motor allows selection of one of six preset speeds, ranging from 125 to 2,000 rpm, adapting to various machining requirements on metal and other hard materials.
 
The lathe bed is made of induction-hardened gray cast iron with reinforcing ribs for increased stability during turning processes. This design ensures high concentric rotation precision, with values reaching 0.009 mm for the spindle nose and 0.04 mm for the chuck. The bed guides are also hardened and ground, offering perfect smoothness for slide movements.
 
For precise operation control, the lathe is equipped with handwheels with fine adjustable graduations, allowing millimeter movements (graduation 0.04/0.01 mm). Additionally, the lead screw mounted on two bearings ensures long-lasting durability and consistent performance, while the threading gear set makes it easy to cut both metric and inch threads.
 
The lathe’s control panel allows selection of clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, and the machine is equipped with an emergency stop switch and a low voltage relay for safe operation.
