The main collet opening and closing clamping sleeve allows the bar-clamping to be securely tightened.
It is a wear part that is normally replaced together with the clamping finger chuck
Replacing the clamping sleeve, improves collet clamping efficiency, reducing workpiece vibrations during turning operations. It also prevents bar pull-back inside the collet during demanding front operations such as drilling and broaching.
