The Proxxon TSG 250/E disc sander is a precision bench machine designed for sanding and finishing operations on small and medium sized components. It is particularly suitable for deburring machined parts, finishing non-ferrous metal and steel components, dimensional adjustment of small parts and surface preparation before bonding or welding operations. The large 250 mm sanding disc combined with electronically adjustable sanding speeds from approximately 250 to 750 m/min allows the machine to adapt to different materials while maintaining precise control and consistent finishing quality.

The machine features a robust structure with a ribbed die-cast aluminium housing designed to ensure high rigidity and vibration stability during operation. The sanding disc is precision machined using diamond tools and supported by double ball bearings, ensuring smooth rotation, reduced vibration and long-term accuracy.

The aluminium work table measuring 275 × 105 mm provides stable support for the workpiece and features adjustable angle settings, allowing tilting up to 45° downward and 15° upward. The supplied mitre guide enables accurate sanding of right angles and controlled bevels, making the machine ideal for finishing edges, flat surfaces, corners and precise angled cuts.

The TSG 250/E can process a wide variety of materials including soft and hard woods, plastics, plexiglass, cork, rubber, non-ferrous metals and steel, as well as composite materials often used in prototyping and technical model making. Adjustable sanding speed allows optimal adaptation to each material, improving finishing quality while reducing overheating or deformation risks.

A dust extraction port allows connection to a workshop vacuum cleaner to keep the working area clean and improve operator safety during sanding operations.

The machine is supplied with two self-adhesive sanding discs in grit 80 and 240 as well as two silicone backing films for storing and reusing sanding discs. This equipment allows the machine to be used immediately for finishing and sanding operations on various materials.
