The fixed installation strobe with intelligent LED technology eliminates the need for xenon tubes, components traditionally subject to wear and tear. The almost indestructible LEDs offer a much higher flash frequency and a more pleasant, quieter light. Control is via the RT Strobe ECO control unit, which can be connected directly to the unit or system to be observed. Thanks to standard connections, machine signals and control units can be used simultaneously, with switching between inputs via a rocker switch.

The fixed-installation stroboscope with smart LED technology represents a significant advancement over traditional models with xenon tubes, known for their wear. The LEDs offer a significantly superior lifetime and are nearly indestructible, eliminating the need for frequent replacements. Additionally, LEDs allow for much higher flash frequencies, producing a more pleasant and silent light.

This stroboscope can be controlled directly from the system you wish to monitor or via the RT Strobe ECO control unit, included in the package. Simply connect the control unit to one of the connectors on the back of the stroboscope. The standard connections allow for simultaneous input of both the machine signal and the control unit. Switching between the two inputs is done via a rocker switch located on the back of the device.

The stroboscope is an essential tool in measurement technology, used to capture still images of moving parts. For example, in printing, it is crucial for checking printing rollers, while in industry, it is used to determine the speed of rotating parts.

Before purchasing a stroboscope, it is crucial to define its application. A fundamental aspect is the flash frequency generated. Some industrial models can reach thousands of hertz, allowing optical inspection of rapid sequences.

The type of light source is another important factor. Modern LED flashes offer powerful LED matrices that provide full illumination, rivaling traditional xenon bulbs. Some stroboscopes can enlarge the LED matrix to properly inspect wide, moving parts like paper strips. Additionally, there are models with UV LED light sources for non-destructive maintenance checks.

Another selection criterion is the light source trigger. A simple flash has an internal regulator, while a more sophisticated stroboscope features a trigger input for external speed sensors, ensuring that flashes are always synchronized with the object's speed. This is particularly useful when rollers rotate at different speeds, such as in paper production or testing printed products.

Modern flashes also offer flash frequency adjustment and the ability to adjust the phasing, briefly delaying the flash pulse to achieve an "optically rotating" image. This moves the marks on moving parts to the correct position.

For portable stroboscopes, power is a key factor. If used occasionally, a battery model is sufficient, but for frequent use, a model with rechargeable batteries is recommended. Fixed models are typically powered by a power supply or directly from the mains.

Finally, the IP protection rating of the stroboscope is crucial, indicating the level of protection against dust and water. For harsh environments, a model with IP67 protection rating is ideal, offering optimal protection against external environmental influences.
