The PCE-RT 2000BT is a portable roughness meter designed for precise surface texture measurement. The instrument is equipped with a stylus tip radius of 5 µm, ensuring accurate readings of surface roughness. The portable Bluetooth roughness tester provides a fast and simple way to measure surface roughness across various materials. Simply place the device on the target surface using its integrated positioning guide and press a button to initiate measurement. Results are displayed immediately on the OLED screen, including a graphical profile trace for visual analysis.

Key roughness parameters such as Ra (average roughness), Rz (mean depth), Rt (total depth), and Rq (RMS roughness) are calculated automatically. The device stores up to 20 measurements internally, with options to transfer data via Bluetooth to Android devices (using the dedicated app) or through the Micro USB interface for PC analysis with included software. Bluetooth connectivity enables remote control from a smartphone, eliminating manual button presses that could introduce vibration errors for enhanced accuracy.
An optional Bluetooth printer is available for on-site documentation. Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, the tester combines lab-grade precision with field-portable convenience for quality control, manufacturing, and maintenance applications.
