PCE-PA 8000-ICA ammeter with ISO calibration certificate included, for single-phase and three-phase analysis with AC voltage measurement up to 600 V, AC current up to 1200 A, active, apparent and reactive power, energy, power factor, phase angle and frequency. It records data on SD memory card in Excel format, with adjustable sampling from 2 to 7200 seconds, 3.7" backlit LCD display, USB or RS-232 interface and 3 current clamps included.

The PCE-PA 8000-ICA ammeter is a professional instrument for electrical analysis of single-phase and three-phase circuits, supplied with ISO calibration certificate included. It is designed to measure and record current, voltage, power, energy, power factor, phase angle and mains frequency in real time. The included ISO certificate makes this version particularly suitable for documented checks, quality departments, scheduled maintenance, energy audits and technical inspections where proof of calibration is required.

The instrument allows network analysis on 3-phase/4-wire, 3-phase/3-wire, 1-phase/2-wire and 1-phase/3-wire systems. This flexibility makes the PCE-PA 8000-ICA suitable for industrial plants, electrical panels, power lines, machines, motors, compressors, pumps, HVAC systems, machine tools, transformers and production loads. The included current clamps allow current measurement without interrupting the circuit and can be used on cables up to 50 mm in diameter.

The PCE-PA 8000-ICA measures AC voltage from 10 to 600 V with 0.1 V resolution and AC current up to 1200 A, with 20 A, 200 A and 1200 A ranges. True RMS measurement of current and voltage provides reliable readings even with non-linear loads, inverters, electronic power supplies, motors and electrical systems with waveforms that are not perfectly sinusoidal. This feature is important in modern installations, where data quality directly affects correct electrical diagnosis.

In addition to current and voltage, the instrument measures active power, apparent power and reactive power. Active power represents the energy actually converted into useful work, heat, movement or production process. Apparent power indicates the total power required by the system, while reactive power represents the component linked to magnetic and electric fields, typical of motors, transformers and inductive loads. These measurements help evaluate consumption, efficiency, overloads, imbalance, abnormal loads and possible energy inefficiencies.

The power factor, measurable from 0 to 1 with 0.01 resolution, helps determine how effectively the absorbed energy is used by the load. A low power factor may indicate a high level of reactive energy, important inductive loads or the need for power factor correction. The phase angle, measurable from -180° to 180° with 0.1° resolution, allows analysis of the phase shift between voltage and current and is useful for checks on motors, three-phase lines, electrical panels, power factor correction systems and installations with complex loads.

The energy measurement function allows active, apparent and reactive energy to be recorded over time. This function is very useful for analysing the consumption of a machine, production line, department or entire installation. Long-term measurements help identify power peaks, abnormal consumption, out-of-hours operation, load variations, phase imbalance and conditions that may affect energy costs or system reliability.

Measured values are recorded on an SD memory card in Excel format, simplifying later analysis on a computer and the creation of technical reports. The sampling rate can be adjusted from 2 to 7200 seconds, so the instrument can be used both for quick checks and for long-term monitoring over several hours or working days. The integrated real-time calendar associates each measurement with the exact recording time, making the data clearer and easier to document.

The 3.7" backlit LCD display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution provides clear reading of the main values during field checks. The operator can quickly view current, voltage, power and other electrical parameters without waiting for later data processing. The USB or RS-232 interface also allows real-time measurement via PC, depending on the connection cable used.

The instrument complies with IEC1010 CAT III 600 V safety standard and includes overload protection up to 720 V rms for V AC measurement and up to 1300 A with current clamps. These features make it suitable for professional checks on electrical systems, panels and distribution networks within the specified limits. Use must be carried out by qualified personnel, following safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment.

The PCE-PA 8000-ICA is suitable for preventive and corrective maintenance, consumption monitoring, electrical fault diagnosis, plant commissioning, energy audits, phase balance checks, power factor analysis, overload checks and documentation of electrical parameters. The included ISO certificate adds value in applications where measurements must be traceable, verifiable and suitable for internal quality procedures.

The delivery contents include 1 PCE-PA 8000-ICA ammeter, 3 current clamps, 4 test probes, 4 crocodile clips, 1 SD memory card 2 GB, 1 9 V DC power adapter, 8 x 1.5 V AA batteries, 1 carrying case, 1 ISO certificate and user manual. This configuration makes the instrument ready for field measurements, workshop checks, plant inspections and documented professional electrical analysis.
