The stroboscope allows rapid movements to be recorded and analysed accurately. With a measuring range of 50 to 12,000 FPM and a high accuracy of 0.01%, movements at different speeds can be examined with great accuracy.

 

Equipped with 144 high-power LEDs, the stroboscope generates short, intense flashes of light emitted at regular intervals. These flashes are synchronised with the movement or machine under examination, creating the impression of frozen or slowed motion. This phenomenon exploits the principle of stroboscopy, where the eye perceives only intermittent images of fast-moving objects through discrete flashes. Illuminance reaches 6270 lux at 12,000 FPM and at a distance of 20 cm. The self-scanning function simplifies measurements by gradually increasing the frequency of flashes to quickly establish synchronisation.

 

Flash frequency adjustment is facilitated by increment options of 1 and the ability to double or halve the flash frequency. Depending on requirements, the flash frequency can be selected in FPM, Hz or m/min. To save energy and extend battery life, the strobe features automatic shut-off and adjustable flash duration from 1 to 250 minutes. Portable and handy, it finds application in various sectors such as industry, science, research and the music industry. The rechargeable 12-volt battery offers a battery life of approximately 4 hours.
