The PCE Instruments PCE-DC2 is a compact digital clamp meter for TRMS measurements of AC/DC current up to 200 A, AC/DC voltage up to 600 V and resistance up to 999.9 Ω. It features NCV non-contact voltage detection, an integrated work light, and a backlit LCD for use inside panels and tight spaces. Functions include PEAK Hold, MAX/MIN Hold, HOLD, auto-ranging and auto power-off.
The PCE-DC2 is built for electricians, maintenance teams and technicians who need quick, reliable checks on electrical systems and equipment. Clamp measurement allows indirect current testing without opening the circuit, while AC/DC voltage and resistance measurements support everyday troubleshooting on supplies, loads and wiring.
For confined installations (cable ducts, switch cabinets, conduits), the compact form factor and 18 mm max. clamp opening make handling easier. The backlit display improves readability, and the integrated work light illuminates the test point when visibility is limited. The NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) function helps detect live voltage without contact, supporting safer workflows and assisting in locating the approximate position of a damaged cable.
For capturing fast events or extremes, the meter includes PEAK Hold (response <10 ms) and MAX/MIN Hold (response <50 ms), plus HOLD, DC A zeroing, auto-ranging and status indicators (BAT/OL). Safety ratings: CAT III 600 V and CAT IV 300 V.
