This portable surface analyzer provides an advanced solution for non-destructive coating thickness measurements on both ferrous (steel, iron) and non-ferrous (aluminum, brass, stainless steel) substrates. Featuring an external spring-loaded probe with V-groove design, the instrument delivers precise, repeatable measurements even in hard-to-reach areas or on curved surfaces, unaffected by external vibrations. The wear-resistant probe head quickly detects thicknesses of paints, plastics, chrome, copper, zinc, and enamels on ferrous metals, as well as insulating coatings like glass, rubber, or paper on non-ferrous metals and anodized aluminum.
