MURTRA 4-leg lifting slings, compliant with EN 1492-2 and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. They ensure maximum safety, reliability and long service life. The sling colour indicates the lifting capacity, from the lightest to the strongest: violet, green, yellow, grey, red, brown, blue and orange. Equipped with a safety latch hook and an individual traceability label, they are the ideal solution for professional lifting operations in industrial and logistics environments.

The MURTRA 4-leg lifting system is a professional device designed for safe and precise lifting operations, compliant with the highest European standards of quality and safety. It is particularly suitable for use in mechanical workshops, construction sites, warehouses, industrial plants, and logistics sectors, where heavy or bulky loads must be handled in a controlled and reliable manner.

This system is manufactured in accordance with European Regulation EN 1492, part 1 for flat slings and part 2 for round slings, which define the fields of application, technical characteristics, and testing and approval methods for textile lifting systems. Compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC ensures that the product meets all essential safety requirements and allows it to bear the CE marking as certified proof of quality and safety.

Each sling is equipped with a safety latch hook that provides secure anchoring and prevents accidental load release during operations. The CMU/WLL/SWL (Working Load Limit) defines the nominal load capacity in vertical tension, while specific pictograms indicate the different usage configurations and corresponding reduction coefficients. For 100% textile slings, the standard requires a minimum safety factor of 7. This means that the breaking load must be at least seven times higher than the rated working load. For example, if a sling has a working load limit of 1,000 kg, it must not break below 7,000 kg. This margin ensures a high level of safety even in the presence of wear, temperature changes, humidity, or minor accidental impacts. For slings with metal fittings, on the other hand, the minimum required safety factor is 5. In this case, the breaking load must be at least five times the working load. The lower factor is justified by the greater strength and stability of the metal components, which provide a higher level of structural safety.

The lifting system consists of high-quality textile straps made of polyester, polypropylene, or polyamide depending on the modell, materials selected for their strength, controlled elasticity, and long-term durability. The color of the webbing identifies the nominal load capacity in vertical tension, according to the standard reference table established by European regulations. For capacities exceeding 10 tons, the orange color is always used, ensuring immediate visual identification of the load capacity.

Each system comes with a sewn identification label on the webbing, showing all essential technical information: manufacturer data, item code, pictograms of working positions, individual serial number for traceability, maximum vertical load, length, production date, European reference standard, webbing material, and safety factor. The label also includes a dedicated table for recording the first use date, which helps with the management of mandatory periodic inspections, ensuring constant monitoring of the device’s operating condition.
