Close-polarity permanent magnet planes, designed for grinding small and thin-walled workpieces, are an advanced technological solution for high-precision machining. These devices exploit the exceptional properties of neodymium magnets, known for their power and stability over time, to ensure secure adhesion even on very thin surfaces. The configuration of these planes involves an alternating succession of steel and brass poles, with specific distances between the poles, designed to optimise the distribution of the magnetic field. This arrangement makes it possible to avoid excessive magnetisation of the workpiece, while maintaining effective clamping without deformation or slippage, crucial elements in guaranteeing impeccable machining quality. Built according to CE directives.

TECHNICAL DATA:

Nominal Vertical pole force 80 N/cm2
Minimum suggested thickness 2 mm
Max performance thickness 5 mm
Minimum piece size 2x2 cm = 4 cm2

Distance and pole succession:
Steel 4.5 mm
Brass 3.5 mm

The combination of steel and brass helps regulate the magnetic flux, ensuring that the field is homogeneous and well distributed across the entire surface of the plate, a fundamental aspect for the machining of small components. This type of configuration ensures that even the thinnest pieces are held uniformly, minimizing vibrations or unwanted movements that could compromise the precision of the grinding. The use of neodymium magnets also ensures that the magnetic force remains constant over time, making these devices reliable even for prolonged and repeated machining.
Magnetic chucks with dense polarity are particularly suitable for sectors that require extremely precise machining and excellent surface finishes, where even the slightest irregularity can compromise the final result. Their ability to firmly hold pieces with reduced thicknesses makes them ideal for machining delicate components, without the risk of deformations or damage caused by excessively strong or non-uniform clamping. Furthermore, thanks to their structure, these magnetic chucks allow you to speed up the tooling processes, improving operational efficiency and reducing the time needed to prepare and position the pieces.
Another important aspect is durability and ease of maintenance. Neodymium magnets, being very resistant, guarantee a long operating life without loss of magnetic power, making these devices a sustainable choice for industrial applications. However, it is essential to keep the surfaces clean of any metal debris that could alter the quality of the magnetic field, thus ensuring optimal operation at all times.
